What is “TSVD Career Day”?
TSVD, supported by Dr. David Klett, has organized the TSVD Career Day 2023, to be held on Saturday, October 14, 2023, from 9:30 to 18:30 at Rotebühlstrasse 77, 70178 Stuttgart, Germany. This event aims to provide a platform intended to assist Thai students, scientists, and researchers in Europe in making informed career decisions not only in the Thai job market but also in the international job market in Germany and neighboring countries such as Switzerland, France, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Austria. Furthermore, it serves as an avenue for networking with the Thai student community. TSVD, founded in 1958, is a non-profit organization registered according to the laws of Germany. One of its core missions is to provide information about pursuing education in Germany and facilitate communication among Thai students studying in Germany. A significant activity of TSVD is supporting Thai students’ preparation for the job market. In 2019, TSVD successfully hosted TSVD Career Day, where leading companies participated, and more than 360 individuals attended. Unfortunately, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, this event faced disruption.
Who is expected to attend the event?
The TSVD Career Day 2023 is poised to attract a diverse and dynamic audience, encompassing a range of potential participants. With an anticipated turnout of 200 individuals, the event is set to draw members of the Thai Student Association in Germany, totaling 120 attendees, as well as Thai students residing in Germany, expected to comprise 50 participants. Additionally, the event has garnered interest from Thai students in neighboring countries, contributing to an estimated 30 participants.
In April 2023, we conducted a survey with the aim of organizing the event and understanding the specific needs and preferences of Thai students. Based on the survey results, it’s clear that a significant majority of individuals interested in joining the event are students, spanning across different educational levels such as bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral programs. This group also includes those currently undertaking German language studies. Additionally, most of these students have plans to complete their studies within the next 1-2 years. While a substantial portion of the interested participants are students, it’s noteworthy that a considerable number of them have prior work experience, gained from diverse backgrounds including Thailand, Germany, and other international contexts.
The fields that have received the highest level of interest are Engineering, Science and Management. You can refer to the graphic above to see the breakdown of these fields among those who are currently studying or have already graduated.

Was ist “TSVD-Career Day”?
Die TSVD, unterstützt von Dr. David Klett, hat den TSVD-Career Day 2023 organisiert, der am Samstag, den 14. Oktober 2023, von 9:30 bis 18:30 Uhr in der Rotebühlstrasse 77, 70178 Stuttgart, Deutschland, stattfinden wird. Dieses Ereignis hat das Ziel, thailändische Studierende, Wissenschaftler und Forscher in Europa bei der informierten Karriereplanung zu helfen – nicht nur im thailändischen, sondern auch im internationalen Arbeitsmarkt wie in Deutschland und in Nachbarländern wie beispielsweise in der Schweiz, Frankreich, den Niederlanden, Belgien und Österreich. Darüber hinaus dient es als Gelegenheit, sich mit der thailändischen Studentengemeinschaft zu vernetzen. Die TSVD, gegründet im Jahr 1958, ist eine gemeinnützige Organisation, die nach den Gesetzen Deutschlands registriert ist. Eine ihrer Hauptaufgaben besteht darin, Informationen über das Studium in Deutschland bereitzustellen und die Kommunikation unter thailändischen Studenten, die in Deutschland studieren, zu fördern. Eine wichtige Aktivität der TSVD ist die Unterstützung der thailändischen Studenten bei der Vorbereitung auf den Arbeitsmarkt. Im Jahr 2019 hat die TSVD erfolgreich den TSVD-Career Day veranstaltet, an dem führenden Unternehmen teilgenommen haben und mehr als 360 Personen anwesend waren. Leider wurde dieses Ereignis aufgrund der COVID-19-Pandemie lange nicht gegeben.
Wer wird auf der Veranstaltung erwartet?
Der TSVD-Career Day 2023 wird voraussichtlich eine vielfältige und dynamische Zielgruppe ansprechen und eine Reihe potenzieller Teilnehmer umfassen. Wir erwarten eine Teilnehmerzahl von 200 Personen. Davon sind 120 Mitglieder des Thai Studentenvereins sowie 50 weitere thailändische Studenten, die in Deutschland leben. Darüber hinaus hat die Veranstaltung Interesse bei thailändischen Studenten in benachbarten Ländern geweckt, was zu geschätzten 30 Teilnehmern beiträgt.
Im April 2023 haben wir eine Umfrage durchgeführt, um die Veranstaltung zu organisieren und um den Überblick von spezifischen Bedürfnissen und Vorlieben der thailändischen Studenten zu bekommen. Basierend auf den Umfrageergebnissen ist deutlich erkennbar, dass die Mehrheit der interessierten Teilnehmer Studenten ist, die verschiedene Bildungsniveaus abdecken, darunter Bachelor-, Master- und Doktorandenprogramme. Diese Gruppe umfasst auch diejenigen, die derzeit Deutschkurse belegen. Die meisten dieser Studenten planen außerdem, ihre Studien innerhalb der nächsten 1-2 Jahre abzuschließen. Obwohl ein großer Teil der interessierten Teilnehmer Studenten ist, ist bemerkenswert, dass eine beträchtliche Anzahl von ihnen bereits Arbeitserfahrung in verschiedenen Ländern hat, darunter Thailand, Deutschland und auch andere internationale Kontexte.
Die Arbeitsrichtungen, die das höchste Interesse auf sich gezogen haben, sind Ingenieurwissenschaften, Naturwissenschaften und Management. Die obenstehende Grafik stellt die Studienfachrichtungen, die die Studierenden derzeit studieren oder bereits abgeschlossen haben.

งาน “TSVD Career Day” คืออะไร?
ด้วยสมาคมนักเรียนไทยในสหพันธ์สาธาณรัฐเยอรมนี (ส.น.ท.ย.) โดยการสนับสนุนของ ดร. David Klett กงสุลกิตติมศักดิ์ กำหนดจัดงาน TSVD Career Day 2023 ในวันเสาร์ที่ 14 ตุลาคม 2566 ที่ Rotebühlstrasse 77 เมือง Stuttgart ประเทศเยอรมนี ตั้งแต่เวลา 9.30 – 18.30 น. โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเป็นเวทีให้ความรู้เกี่ยวกับการศึกษาและเตรียมความพร้อมเส้นทางอาชีพของนักเรียน นักศึกษา และนักวิจัยชาวไทยทั้งในเยอรมนีและในประเทศใกล้เคียง อาทิ สวิสเซอร์แลนด์ ฝรั่งเศส เนเธอร์แลนด์ เบลเยียม และออสเตรีย ตลอดจนเพื่อเป็นเวทีพบปะกับกลุ่มผู้ประกอบการ
ส.น.ท.ย. ก่อตั้งเมื่อ พ.ศ. 2501 เป็นสมาคมไม่แสวงผลกำไรที่ลงทะเบียนถูกต้องตามกฏหมายของประเทศเยอรมนีมีภารกิจในการให้ข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับการศึกษาต่อในประเทศเยอรมนีและเป็นสื่อกลางในการติดต่อสื่อสารระหว่างนักเรียนไทยที่มาศึกษาต่อ ณ ประเทศเยอรมนี โดยหนึ่งในกิจกรรมสำคัญของ ส.น.ท.ย. คือ การให้การสนับสนุนด้านการเตรียมความพร้อมแก่นักเรียนและนักศึกษาไทยในการเข้าสู่ตลาดแรงงาน โดยในปี ค.ศ. 2019 ส.น.ท.ย. ได้จัดงาน TSVD Career Day 2019 และประสบความสำเร็จอย่างสูง โดยมีบริษัทชั้นนำร่วมออกบูธจำนวนมากโดยมีผู้เข้าร่วมงานกว่า 360 ท่าน แต่เนื่องด้วยสถานการณ์การแพร่ระบาดของเชื้อโควิด-19 ทำให้กิจกรรมดังกล่าวขาดความต่อเนื่อง
ใครคือผู้เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมนี้?
ในกิจกรรมนี้ เรามีนักเรียนเป็นกลุ่มเป้าหมายหลัก โดยคาดว่าจะมีผู้เข้าร่วมทั้งสิ้นประมาณ 200 คน ซึ่งเป็นสมาชิกของสมาคมนักเรียนไทยในเยอรมนีฯ ซึ่งมีจำนวนรวมทั้งสิ้น 120 คน นักศึกษาไทยที่พักอาศัยในเยอรมนีฯ จำนวน 50 คน รวมทั้งนักศึกษาไทยในประเทศใกล้เคียงอีกประมาณ 30 คน
ในเดือนเมษายน พ.ศ. 2566 เราได้จัดทำการสำรวจข้อมูลและความต้องการของผู้สนใจเข้าร่วม ผลจากการสำรวจแสดงให้เห็นว่าผู้ที่สนใจเข้าร่วมงานส่วนเป็นนักศึกษาไม่ว่าจะในระดับปริญญาตรี ปริญญาโท และปริญญาเอก รวมถึงผู้กำลังเรียนภาษาเยอรมัน โดยนักศึกษาส่วนใหญ่ระบุว่าจะสำเร็จการศึกษาภายใน 1-2 ปีนี้ นอกจากนี้ส่วนมากยังระบุว่าเคยมีประสบการณ์การทำงานมาก่อน ทั้งจากประเทศไทย เยอรมนี หรือประเทศอื่นๆ
ทั้งนี้สาขางานที่ได้รับความสนใจมากที่สุดคือวิศวกรรมศาสตร์ วิทยาศาสตร์ และการบริหารจัดการ โดยภาพด้านบนแสดงให้ถึงสัดส่วนของสาขาที่ผู้ตอบแบบสอบถามเรียนอยู่หรือจบมาแล้วล่าสุด
